American University of Sovereign Nations is honored to have signed an Academic Cooperation Agreement with University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR), Cebu, the Philippines.

USJR was founded in 1947 by the Order of Augustinian Recollects, USJR developed from a small institution of learning to one of the excellent schools in the country. From classes held in an old building and a portion of the convent, the school built modern retaining classic features. Departments and Colleges include:College of Arts & Sciences; College of Commerce; College of Engineering; College of Nursing; School of Law; Graduate School of Arts and Sciences; Graduate School of Business Management and Administration; Graduate School of Engineering; Senior High School.  AUSN is cooperating in the development of a University Research Ethics Committee, and in the training and capacity building of staff to become a leader for the development of bioethics and ethics of science and technology in the Philippines and beyond.
