Professor Wendsler Nosie, former Chair, San Carlos Apache Nation, outside the San Carlos Apache Administration office on 26 February 2016 at the start of the Anniversary Walk to Oak Flat. Some AUSN students and AUSN President joined in the group. Hon. Wendsler Nosie has taught many AUSN students and faculty in past visits to San Carlos, Oak Flat and AUSN, and AUSN is honored to appoint him as Professor in the Practice of Indigenous Knowledge.
